About 15 minutes after the last photo, the first section of train 17, the Super Chief, with engines 101-108 and 13 cars took the siding at 3:17PM. The first section of trains 17 & 18 probably met at their scheduled location of Rowe NM, 9 miles east of Glorieta. Since eastbound trains are superior to westbound trains of the same class, it was apparent that 1st 17 was going to meet 2nd 18 in a few minutes at Glorieta.
