SLSF westbound train QLA with 413-821-842-645 between downtown and Cherokee Yard at 10:00AM. The QLA commonly came through Tulsa during the mid-morning making it a favorite to see. This train symbol and QSF pay homage to the Quanah, Acme and Pacific as a gateway between the SLSF and ATSF. By this time, the run-through train used the Avard OK gateway instead of the QA&P. The QLA was a run-through train between Richmond VA on the SCL to Los Angeles on the ATSF. The SLSF was the connecting link in this operation.
