ATSF tower and signal bridge at Merrick, on the west side of Emporia KS. The view is looking west toward Ellinor and Strong City. To the west were three mains. The north and middle mains were ABS signaled for westbound and eastbound traffic respectively. The south main was reverse signaled TCS (ATSF lingo for CTC). To the east toward the yard and Emporia, the north track was the north main. The middle track was the south main and the south track was the 175 track. At the far left of the picture is the lead to the eastbound yard.
